We’ve also made some changes to the way notch looks, with an emphasis on utility and readability. No more having to stare at a sea of information after your shift; we put the details you need at the forefront. Try it today and let us know what you think!

The next phase of notch begins today, with a redesigned and much improved ordering experience.

The Best Ordering Experience Available

We’ve taken hours and hours of feedback from you, our users, to build the best digital ordering experience for restaurants out there. Hands down. Your info, at a glance, no filler. Here’s what that means for you.

Easy switching between views

Going between your order guide and your suppliers' full catalogs is now easier than ever. You can use the  “Guide” to view your order guide items, or tap “Catalog” to discover what other products the supplier has to offer. You can filter your Guide or Catalog experience by supplier or category using our new improved filter function. You can also still click "Shop" from your order desk to browse how you're used to today.

What does this mean for you? Fewer clicks to toggle between your favorites and new items to browse.

Adding products to your order guide is now easier than ever

Need to add products to an order guide? Simply tap on the bookmark icon on the product to add it to your order guide.

What does this mean for you? Easier adds, and no more having to click back and forth to find items across different lists.

New custom guides, sorting and filters

Finally, we’re introducing an upgraded, more customizable and powerful order guide experience that adapts to the way your business operates.  Rather than being limited to just one supplier, this upgrade allows you to finally include products from multiple suppliers.

This improvement puts greater flexibility in your hands, helping you to organize your order guides in ways that work best for your business. We’ve heard from many of our users that order guides need to be adaptable to different services, or components of their businesses. Need a Front of House order guide for all your wines from 20 different suppliers, and a Back of House order guide to contain all items from your go-to broad-liner? Done. Want different order guides for brunch service and dinner? Easy. Oh, and our filtering function works in this new custom guide too, along with new convenient ways to sort.

What does this mean for you? Organize your items the way you make a shopping list. Add items to your guides with ease, and filter sort within your order guides, saving you the tedious back and forth.

What happens to my current order guides? As part of  this change, your current order guide list format will by default, be merged into this new format.
Don’t worry though, all your products that are currently in your order guides will still be  under “Guide” and you can still view them supplier-by-supplier. Either click into them from your order desk like you do today, or use our powerful filter system that lets you view by supplier, category, and more, across any guide.

More to Come

This is just the beginning; keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks, all designed to make your experience easier, faster and even more convenient. In the meantime, we’d love to know what you think. Give our new experience a try today, or reach out to us with any questions you may have at hello@notchordering.com
