Tuesday, July 4th 2023 - Toronto, ON - Notch, leading provider of innovative payment solutions for the restaurant industry, is pleased to announce that Ivy Luu has joined Notch as Head of Payments. 

With a career spanning more than two decades in the Payments industry, Ivy's extensive credentials include holding the esteemed Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, a testament to her strong banking background. 

Ivy's expertise in point-of-sale (POS) and card processing is highly regarded, having spent ten years at Moneris Solutions, Canada's largest merchant acquirer and payment processor, honing her skills and knowledge in these areas.

During her tenure at Citibank, she acquired treasury and trade expertise, excelling in cash implementations, and gaining exceptional proficiency in payables, receivables, and liquidity management solutions.

In her most recent role at a prominent Canadian fintech company, Ivy held a pivotal role on the leadership team as Head of Product & Design, where she focused on spearheading the digital transformation of domestic and cross-border solutions, and innovating traditional cash and liquidity management systems. 

Recognized for her profound knowledge and thought leadership, Ivy has participated on the Payments Canada Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC), and is a frequent speaker at payment, liquidity, banking, and fintech events and panels. 

With Ivy's exceptional track record, Notch is thrilled to welcome her aboard and anticipates her invaluable contributions to the company's continued success.

Ivy’s thought leadership in the Canadian payment industry, will help Notch broaden it’s financial services offerings to it’s restaurant and distributor customer base. 

As Head of Payments, Ivy will chart the roadmap for embedded payments offerings on notch’s AP, and AR products, as well as build new relationships with BaaS providers to help Notch execute on it’s mission to help hospitality entrepreneurs pay, and get paid faster.
